Holy Bible
The Holy Bible is the authoritative Word of God. It is the only and final inspired, infallible inerrant authority in determining all doctrinal truths. (Proverbs 30:5; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21).
The Trinity
There is one true and living God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 54:5; Jeremiah 10:10; John 1:1; Romans 1:20; Ephesians 4:5,6).
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. Fully God and fully man, He is the only man to have ever lived a sinless life. Conceived by God the Father through the Holy Spirit, He was born of a virgin, He performed miracles, died on the cross to atone for our sins through His shed blood, rose on the third day, ascended to the Father’s right hand, and will return again in power and glory (Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 53; Matthew 20:28; Luke 1:26-38; John 2:2; John 3:16; Acts 1:11; Romans 10:9; 5:21; 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; Titus 2:13).
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, giving them assurance of salvation, spiritual gifts, and empowering them to advance Christ's Kingdom on this earth (Ezekiel 36:27; Joel 2:28; John 14:12; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38; Romans 8:9,11,16; Romans 12:8-11; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:11-13; Galatians 4:6; 1 John 3:24; 1 John 4:13).
Redemption
Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression he fell; the one and only hope of redemption is in the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ (Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).
Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is God’s gift, not the result of our good works or human effort (Ephesians 2:8-10; Galatians 2:16; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Hebrews 9:22).
Sanctification
Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Holy Spirit to complete the development of Jesus Christ's character in us. Through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s Word, believers are empowered to live a godly life (I Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; II Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18, II Thessalonians 2:1-3, Romans 8:29, 12:1-2, Hebrews 2:11)
